Ingredients
Lynzi’s Corn
6 Ears of fresh or frozen Corn
water
2 tsp. salt
2 1/2 tsp. sigar
1/2 tsp. fresh ground black pepper
1/3 cup powdered sweet milk
Preparation
Husk and remove silks from the desired number of fresh or frozen ears of corn. In a saucepan large enough to easily hold the corn. Add enough water to come up to half of the highest placed ear of corn. Add 2 tsp. salt, 2 1/2 tsp. sugar and 1/2 tsp fresh ground pepper. Add 1/3 C. powdered milk. Simmer for about 8 minutes. Checking any corn that is above the line of liquid and making sure to turn the ears over to be poached in the liquid. The cooking time is adequate to make the fresh corn cook through without making it tough. Serve with butter, fresh black pepper.
