Ingredients
1 1/2 c. plain soy milk
1/2 c. water
1/3 c. soy sauce
1 1/2 c. nutritional yeast
1 tblsp. paprika
1 tblsp. garlic powder
3 oz. firm tofu
1 c. canola oil
1 1/2 lbs. macaroni noodles
1 tsp. mustard
breadcrumbs, if desired
Preparation
Preheat oven to 350 F. Boil water in a big pot for the pasta. All of the ingredients sans pasta can easily go in a blender (liquid and powdered) – this is by far the easiest way. Once the pasta is cooked, drain and put it in the baking pan and pour the cheese sauce over the pasta. Mix the cheese sauce and the noodles so all of the pasta is coated. If desired, sprinkle bread crumbs on top. Bake until the top of the pasta looks slightly browned - about 15 minutes.
