Ingredients
2 cups Macaroni
2 cups Carrots cubed
2 cups Celery cubed
2/3 cup Scallions chopped finely
1 cup Miracle Whip
2 Tbsp Vinegar
1 Tbsp Mustard
1 Tsp sugar
Dill weed
Celery Seed
Salt and Pepper
Preparation
Cook Macaroni according to the instructions on the package
While the macaroni is cooking, you should prepare the dressing in a small bowl. Put in the bowl miracle whip, mustard, vinegar and sugar whisk them together until it makes a nice smooth dressing.
Drain the Macaroni throughly, put the macaroni in the big bowl along with the cubed veggies and dressing. Before tossing it together, add about a handful amount of dill weed, celery seeds and scallions. Toss throughly. I strongly suggest to keep seasoning the mac salad with the dill weed, celery seeds simply because it gives the mac salad great flavor.
I always do a taste test just to make sure it’s seasoned throughly, sometimes depending on how much you’re going to make, you may need to make adjustments to make sure everything is evenly distributed. I highly recommend refrigerating the finished product for a few hours as it will give the dish its peak flavor.
