Ingredients

1 cup brown sugar

2 Tablespoons flour

1 Tablespoon butter

1 cup white Karo syrup

3 eggs

1/4 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon vanilla

1 cup of pecan halves

1 unbaked 9" pie shell

Preparation

  1. Cream butter and add sugar and flour until well mixed.
  2. Beat eggs.
  3. Add beaten eggs and syrup and beat until frothy.
  4. Add salt, vanilla, and pecan halves.
  5. Pour into pie shell.
  6. Bake 40 minutes at 325.
