Ingredients
.5 head Iceberg lettuce
.5 head Romain lettuce
1 cup chopped celery
2 each chopped green onions
1 can Mandarin oranges - 11 oz
.5 cup slivered almonds
3 tablespoon sugar
Dressing
.5 teaspoon salt
1 dash pepper
.25 cup vegetable oil
1 tablespoon chopped parsley
2 tablespoon sugar
2 tablespoon vinegar
1 dash Tabasco sauce
Preparation
Drain oranges. Glaze almonds with sugar in non-stick pan. Careful not to burn. Break lettuce into salad size pieces. Mix lettuce, celery, onions, oranges & almonds in serving bowl. Mix all dressing ingredients and toss into the lettuce.
