Ingredients
1/2 C sliced almonds
3Tbs sugar
10 C lettuce (BIG bowl)
1 C celery(4 stalks), chopped
1/4 C slivered red onion
1 11oz ca Mandarin Oranges
DRESSING
1/2 tsp salt, pepper
1/4 C OLIVE oil
1 Tbs parsley, finely chopped
2 Tbs sugar
2 Tbs white wine vinegar
hot sauce to taste
Preparation
coat almonds in sugar and toast in a skillet (they burn easily). Remove when golden, store in an airtight container in fridge.
Mix and chill Dressing
Combine Lettuce, celery, and onions. Add dressing, almonds and oranges just before serving.
