Ingredients

1-1/2 sticks unsalted butter

1 Cup granulated sugar

1/2 Cup brown sugar

2 large eggs

1 vanilla bean, split lengthwise, pulp scraped out

2 Cups Maninis Multiuso/Multipurpose flour

1 teaspoon baking soda

1 teaspoon salt

12 oz. chocolate chips (I prefer dark chocolate)

Preparation

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Line baking sheets with parchment paper. In a bowl of an electric mixer, cream the butter and sugars (preferably with a paddle attachment). Beat the eggs and vanilla bean pulp, scraping down the bowl as needed. Sift together flour, baking soda and salt. Gradually add dry ingredients to butter mixture. Combine at low speed until dough comes together. Mix in chips. Drop tablespoons of dough and flatten by hand. Bake 9-12 minutes. Don’t over cook! Cool cookie sheet before removing the cookies.
