Ingredients
2 1/2 Cups All Purpose Flour
1/2 Cup Sugar
1 1/2 Tbsp Baking Powder
1/2 Tsp Salt
1/2 Cup Oats
1/2 Cup blueberries
1 3/4 Cups Cream
2 Tbsp Maple Syrup
Have extra sugar, cream and syrup for topping.
Preparation
Mix all the dry ingredients in a bowl, including the blueberries. Then in a separate container mix the cream and the maple syrup. Pour the liquid over the dry ingredients and work the dough together until it is uniform. Mold into individual scones or a round and slice into 1/8s. Brush the top with cream and sprinkle with sugar and oats, then drizzle maple syrup over the scones. Bake for a total of 24-28 minutes or until moist crumbs stick to a toothpick test.
