Ingredients

1 kilo of chicken breast or tenders

125ml or PURE maple syrup

80ml of chilli sauce

1 small onion chopped

30 ml Cider vinegar (apple)

15 ml mustard

5 Worcestershire sauce

Preparation

Combine maple syrup, chilli sauce, onion, cider vinegar, mustard, and worcestershire sauce and mix well or put it in a shaker and shake. Place chicken in a large pan for marinating or a big plastic bag and pour the sauce mixture over and marinate for a few hours. Grill or barbeque, ensuring you baste the chicken as you cook.

*You can use a 50/50 of hot chilli and sweet thai chilli for children.

  • if you like it hot, use a hot chilli sauce only.
  • If using chicken breasts slice in half so the chicken breast is thin and cooks evenly.
  • serve with Jasmine rice and stir fried vegetable or healthy salads.
