Ingredients

3/4 cup smooth peanut butter

1 cup sugar

1 stick unsalted butter, room temperature

2 eggs

2 cups flour

1/4 cup maple syrup

1 bag butterscotch or chocolate chips

1/2 teaspoon baking powder

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix together sugar, peanut butter, and butter in a medium sized bowl until mixture is creamy. Add eggs; add maple syrup. Stir, then add flour and butterscotch chips. Bake on a cookie sheet for 10 minutes, then transfer to a plate or rack to cool.
