Ingredients
1 unbaked 9" pie shell- 4 large eggs- 3/4 c REAL maple syrup- 1/4 tsp lemon juice- dash cinnamon- 1/4 c melted butter- 1/2 tsp vanilla- 1/2 tsp salt- 2 c walnut pieces
Preparation
Preheat oven to 375. Beat together all ingredients, except walnuts, until smooth. spread walnuts in crust, pour batter over nuts, bake 30 minutes or until firm. Great hot with a good French vanilla ice cream. This is simple but incredibly good, and pecans make an excellent substitution.
