Ingredients
2 chicken breasts sliced to 3/4" thick
2 pork belly strips
1/2 cup white wine
1/2 cup maple syrup
1 sliced garlic clove
Chopped fresh herbs
Parsley (optional)
Preparation
- Brown pork strips in frying pan to release fat.
- Add chicken and brown on both sides. Set chicken aside.
- Add wine and maple syrup and de-glaze pan.
- Add garlic.
- Reduce liquid by 1/3 and then return chicken to pan. Removed pork strips and cut into chunks and return to pan.
- Add some mixed fresh herbs like oregano and tarragon. Season with salt and pepper. Continue reducing sauce until very thick.
- Garnish with parsley.
