Ingredients
3/4 cup flour
1/4 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
1/3 cup unsalted butter
1/2 cup sugar
2 Tbl. water
1 12 oz. bag semi-sweet choc chips
1 tsp vanilla
2 eggs
Preparation
Preheat oven to 325 Grease 9" sq. baking pan Combine flour, baking soda, salt. Bring water, sugar, butter just to a boil. Remove from heat. Stir in half the chips & vanilla. Stir until chocolate melts and is fully blended. Transfer to large bowl, beat in eggs, one at a time. Blend in flour misture. Stir in remaining chips. Spread in pan. Bake 25 - 30 mins.
Can be doubled; will need more baking time…in 9 x 13 pan. Also, can freeze. Allow to cool completely, cover with a layer of saran wrap, then cover with foil.
