Ingredients

Simple Syrup:

2/3 c. sugar (preferrably Turbinado sugar)

1/3 c. water

Sour Mix:

1 1/8 c. water

3/4 c. fresh lemon juice

1/8 c. sugar

1 egg white

Margarita:

2 c. white tequila (100% blue agave)

1 c. Cointreau

1/2 c. fresh lime juice

1 oz. simmple syrup

1/2 c. sour mix

ice

Preparation

Simple Syrup: Combine sugar and water in small saucepan. Heat until boiling, stirring to dissolve sugar. Cool

Sour Mix: Combine all ingredients in a large glass container. Stir until sugar is dissolved. Chill until ready to use.

Margaritas: Combine all ingredients in a large pitcher. Stir to combine well. Pour individual servings into a cocktail shaker with plenty of ice. Shake vigorously. Strain into chilled martini glasses rimmed with salt or turbinado sugar.
