Ingredients

3 eggs

1/2 cup sugar

2 tbsp flour

1/4 tsp salt

1 tsp vanilla

1 1/2 cups pecans

1 cup white corn syrup

2 tbsp butter

9" frozen pie crust

Preparation

Put the sugar, flour, and salt in a bowl and stir until well mixed. Add the 3 eggs and vanilla and beat with a wire whisk or hand-hold mixer until smooth. Add the 1 cup of corn syrup and stir until blended. Add the butter in about 5 little pieces. Bake 400 degrees for 10 minutes. Reduce the heat to 350 and continue baking for 30minutes. You may take it out of the oven when slightly ‘jiggly’ in the center; the heat of the pie will finish the baking. (I do this if it looks like the pie is getting too brown.)
