Preparation
Start with enough coffee to make 4 cups (strong coffee is best). Brew the coffee using only two cups of water. Next you’ll pour the coffee into a sauce pan, with an extra 1/4th cup of water and 3 -4 tablespoons of sugar. Bring the mixture to a boil and continue boiling until you’ve reduced down to about a cup. Transfer the syrup to a small jar and refrigerate.
