Ingredients

1 cup dry white wine

1/4 cup soy sauce

1 (1-ounce) package meat marinade

1 tablespoon sugar

2 tablespoons olive oil

2 cloves garlic, crushed

1/2 teaspoon ground ginger

1 (2-pound) flank steak

Preparation

Combine all ingredients except steak in a large shallow dish, mixing well. Place steak in dish. Cover and refrigerate 3 hours, turning steak occasionally.

Remove steak from marinade. Grill 5 inches from hot coals for 7 minutes on each side or until desired degree of doneness; baste frequently with marinade.

To serve, thinly slice the steak diagonally across the grain.
