Ingredients
4 pounds of babyback pork ribs
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup ketchup
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
1/4 cup Jack Daniels whiskey
1 tsp. chili powder
2 cloves garlic, crushed
1 tsp. dry mustard
Preparation
- If you decide to cook the ribs before grilling, boil a large pot of water. Once water is boiling, put serving size portions of ribs into water and boil for about 30 minutes until no longer pink.
- In a bowl, mix together brown sugar, ketchup, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, Jack Daniels, chili powder, garlic, and dry mustard. Marinate the ribs one hour at room temperature or overnight in the refrigerator.
- Preheat grill to low and grate should not be too close to heat source.
- Brush grate with oil. Place ribs on grill and cook for 30 minutes, basting with marinade. If slow grilling then cook for about 1 1/2 to 2 hours marinating occasionally.
