Ingredients
1 can brown lentils + water
1 medium potato
2 medium tomatoes
1 onion chopped
1 tsp cumin powder
1 tsp turmeric
1 jalapeno chilli chopped (opt)
1/2 tsp ground ginger
1 clove garlic chopped
Fresh coriander (cilantro) choppped
salt to taste
Preparation
Sauté onion in oil until translucent. Add garlic and stir 30 sec. Add can of lentils and their water. Add all other ingredients except coriander and bring to boil. Reduce to simmer for 30 mins. Garnish with fresh coriander
