Ingredients

2 cans apple pie filling

1 - 12 oz. jar apple sauce

1 stick butter

3 cans refrigerated croissants

3/4 cup sugar

cinnamon

flour

Preparation

Roll out croissants on a floured surface until they are flat, then cut them into strips. Mix apple pie filling and applesauce. In an oval baking pan, lay croissant strips running both length and width of pan, add 1/4 stick butter, 1/4 cup sugar, 1/3 of the apple mixture, cinnamon to taste. Repeat this in two more layers, resulting in three levels of croissant, fruit, sugar, butter, and cinnamon. On top of this, add one more layer of croissants with two pats of butter on top. Bake at 350 until crust is light brown. Best served with homemade vanilla ice cream.
