Ingredients

1 large chopped onion

Olive oil

2 slices white bread

Milk to soak bread

About 3/4 cup ketchup

1/4 cup light brown sugar

1-1/4 lbs ground chuck

1-1/4 lbs ground pork

Salt, cayenne and black pepper

1 rounded teaspoon dried sage

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

2 large eggs, lightly beaten

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350. Saute onions in olive oil. Soak bread in milk. Combine 1/2 cup ketchup with brown sugar and set aside for glaze. Combine meat in a large mixing bowl. Add bread after squeezing and shredding. Add all other ingredients, including the remaining 1/4 cup ketchup, in large mixing bowl. Move to meat loaf pan and apply glaze. Bake at 350 for 1-1/4 to 1-1/2 hours.
