Ingredients
1 lb. ground beef
1/4 lb. pork sausage
1/2 C. dry bread crumbs
1/3 C. evaporated milk
2 T. onion, chopped
1 tsp. chili powder
1/8 tsp. pepper
Cover meat balls with :
1 can celery soup
1 can mushroom soup
1 C. evaporated milk
1/2 C. water
(Preheat)
Biscuits:
Sift:
1 1/2 C. flour
1/4 tsp. chili powder
3 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
Cut in:
1/3 C. Crisco
Combine:
1 egg
1/3 C. evaporated milk
Preparation
Make meat balls mixing well. Makes around 30 meatballs. Place in 2 1/2 quart casserole. Heat soup, evaporated milk and water. Pour over meatballs. Combine 1 egg with 1/3 C. evaporated milk. Add to dry ingredients, and mix. Roll out to 12 inch square; sprinkle with 1-1/2 C. grated cheese and 1 T. dried parsley. Roll up and cut into slices; place on top of meat mixture Bake 350 degrees for 30 min. or until biscuits are done.
