Ingredients

Course brown bread or baguette cut into 1/2 inch slices

German butter or Brown and Brummel

Handful of feldsalat or your favorite greens

jar of pickled banana peppers (not spicy)

2 Roma tomatoes sliced in rounds

block of fresh feta cheese

ground black pepper to taste

Preparation

Cut the baguette into 12 slices or full slice of brown bread in half. Spread each slice with butter. If German butter, it will need to sit before spreading. Top bread with lettuce or Feldsalat, then a slice of feta cheese to fit the size of the bread, slice of tomato, one whole pepper per bread slice. Sprinkle with fresh ground pepper.
