Ingredients
2 cups warm water
1 Tsp dry yeast
1 Tsp sugar
2 Tsp olive oil
2 Tsp salt
5 cups bread flour
Preparation
- Mix water, 1 Tsp yeast, and 1 Tsp sugar in mixing bowl. Let sit for 5 minutes.
- Mix in oil, flour, and salt on low, adding flour until dough is only slightly sticky, pulling cleanly from the sides of the bowl.
- Mix for 8 minutes.
- Break dough into 4 equal portions.
- Knead each portion by hand for one minute, wrapping dough around so it’s seamless except for the center point on the bottom where you’ve tucked any edges in.
- Let each portion rise in oiled bowls for 90 minutes or until doubled.
- Preheat grill with pizza stone on one side to 450 degrees.
- Stretch dough on well-floured pizza peel or rimless backing sheet, adding flour if sticky.
- Top with sauce & toppings & lightly oil exposed crust edges.
- Bake on pizza stone for 14 minutes.
