Ingredients
4 pkg (10 oz) leaf spinach, parboiled
1 lg chopped onion
1/4 c butter
salt, pepper to taste
1/4-1/2 tsp dill
6 eggs
1 lb feta
2 T butter, melted
1 stick butter, melted
20 filo sheets
Preparation
Parboil spinach. Squeeze out any excess water. Brown onion with 1/4 c butter. Add spinach, salt, pepper and dill to taste. In another bowl, whip 6 eggs, feta, and few tablespoon melted butter. Combine with spinach when cooled. Butter 9x13 pan. Place 4 filo sheets brushed with butter on the bottom, then 1/4 of spinach,then another 4 sheets of brushed filo. Repeat until 4 layers total, ending with the last filo layer. Top with remaining butter. Score and bake at 350 for 1 hour. Yum!!
