Ingredients

1 large can organic vegetarian refried beans

Hot sauce to taste

2-4 large avocados

2 heads chopped garlic

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1 tablespoon lime juice

3 tablespoons chopped cilantro

1 pint sour cream or yoghurt

1/2 teaspoon cumin

1-2 chopped scallions

1 small can sliced black olives

1/2 green pepper chopped

1 chopped jalapeno or habanero pepper (optional)

1-2 medium ripe tomatoes, chopped

2 cups grated cheddar cheese

Assorted chips

Preparation

Spread ingredients in layers on large platter, as follows:

–refried beans with hot sauce, if desired –guacamole (combine avocados, garlic, lemon, lime, salsa, and cilantro) –sour cream or yoghurt with cumin and garlic –scallions and olives –chopped hot pepper (if desired) –green pepper and chopped tomatoes –grated cheddar cheese

Serve with chips on the side.
