Ingredients
2-2 1/2 lbs ground beef
2 packets taco seasoning
1 cup water
16 oz salsa, separated into 2 bowls
8 oz sour cream
3 cups shredded cheese
10-15 flour tortillas (Thick and soft), one package should be enough. I prefer the thick home-style tortillas
Preparation
Brown beef and drain fat. Mix packets taco seasoning and water and bring to boil 3-4 minutes. Let sit to thicken. Once thickened stir in 8 ounces of salsa
In small bowl mix sour cream and 8 ounces salsa
Layer 3-5 tortillas on the bottom of a lightly greased 8x10 glass pan so that it covers bottom and sides. Layer 1/2 beef mix, 1/3 sour cream mix, 1 cup cheese and tortillas. Place another layer or beef mix, sour cream mix and 1 cup cheese. Top with final layer of tortilla and top with remaining cheese
Bake 350* for 30-45 minutes until heated through.
