Ingredients

3 T vegetable oil

1/4 C chopped onion

1/2 C tomato sauce

2 C chicken broth

1 C uncooked rice

1 t garlic salt

1/2 t cumin

Preparation

Heat oil in skillet at medium. Add rice. Stir constantly until rice is puffed and golden. Sprinkle salt and cumin over rice. Stir in onions and cook until tender. Stir in tomato sauce and broth. Bring to a boil; reduce and cover. Simmer 20 minutes.
