Ingredients

-3/4 lbs lean ground turkey

-3 tablespoons chili powder

-3 cloves minced garlic

-1 onion, chopped

-3 celery stalks, chopped in 1/2 inch chunks

-2 fresh jalapeño peppers, chopped

-1 habanero pepper, chopped

-1 tablespoon salt

-1 tablespoon pepper

-1 can navy beans

-1 can kidney beans

-1 can stewed tomatoes

-1 tablespoon tomato paste

-5 cups water

Preparation

-Brown turkey in large pot over medium heat -Add salt and pepper and 1 tablespoon chili powder -Add onions, celery, and half the jalapeño and habanero, allow to become soft. -Add garlic -Add tomato paste and stewed tomato -Add water and bring to a boil -Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer for 1 hour, stirring occasionally -Add rest of chili powder and rest of peppers -Simmer another hour, stirring occasionally -Drain beans and add to pot -Simmer 1 hour, stirring occasionally

note: if chili appears to become too thick, add 1 cup water. If after 3 hours chili is too thin, simmer longer and add 1 tablespoon more chili powder.
