Ingredients
3 sticks unsalted butter
1 cup Zulka Azucar Morena pure cane sugar
1 egg
1 Tablespoon Xanath Mexican Vanilla Pure & Natural or other pure essence of vanilla
3-1/2 cups Selecta Harina de Trigo Extra Fine all purpose enriched wheat flour or other flour suitable for pastry
Preparation
Mix sugar, egg, butter and vanilla, with all ingredients at room temperature. Add flour, mixing gently. Dough can be forced through a cooky press or chilled and sliced. Bake at 350 degrees for about 10 minutes. Watch carefully because baking time is determined by the size of the cookies.
