Ingredients

1 tbsp Active dry yeast

1/4 cup hotest tap water

1/2 tsp sugar

2 tbsp Virgin Olive Oil

1 cup hotest tap water

1 tsp salt

3 - 4 cups flour

1 14 oz can of oregano diced tomatos - mixed

minimal topings

Preparation

  1. Combine yeast, water, sugar in bowl. Water should be about 110 degrees, Let stand for 5 - 10 min.

  2. Add olive oil, remaining water and salt

  3. Slowly add flour, half cup at a time.

  4. Knead dough until it becomes shiny (10 - 15 min)

  5. Coat medium sized bowl with olive oil and place dough in center, rolling in olive oil. Cover with plastic and keep in warm area.

  6. Let dough sit for 1.5 hours

  7. Put pizza stone in cold oven at 500 degrees

  8. Punch down dough, let rest for 5 min.

  9. Divied dough into 4 sections

  10. Roll out dogh 1/4" thick

  11. Place dough on pizza stone, work quickly, add toppings. Each pizza should take about 6 - 9 minutes.
