Ingredients

12-14 ounces flaked coconut

6 quarts oats

6 cups bran or wheat germ

2 cups dry milk

1/2 cup brown sugar

2 cups oil

2 cups honey

2 tablespoons vanilla

sesame seeds, nuts, sunflower seeds as desired

dried fruit

Preparation

  1. Mix coconut, oats, bran, milk and brown sugar.
  2. Warm oil, honey and vanilla and add to oat mixture with seeds and nuts as desired.
  3. Put into 4 oiled 9" x13" pans and cook in 325 degree oven for about 12 minutes. Stir and cook another 8-10 minutes until light brown. Stir, cook 8-10 minutes more. 4 After cooking add dried fruit to taste.
