Ingredients
12-14 ounces flaked coconut
6 quarts oats
6 cups bran or wheat germ
2 cups dry milk
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 cups oil
2 cups honey
2 tablespoons vanilla
sesame seeds, nuts, sunflower seeds as desired
dried fruit
Preparation
- Mix coconut, oats, bran, milk and brown sugar.
- Warm oil, honey and vanilla and add to oat mixture with seeds and nuts as desired.
- Put into 4 oiled 9" x13" pans and cook in 325 degree oven for about 12 minutes. Stir and cook another 8-10 minutes until light brown. Stir, cook 8-10 minutes more. 4 After cooking add dried fruit to taste.
