Ingredients

2 cup millet

2 cup water

3 cup milk

3 tablespoon sugar

1 teaspoon salt

3 tablespoon butter

Preparation

Rinse millet with water. Bring pot of water to boil. Put millet into the pot. Add salt. Cook 5-10 minutes at medium heat, until water is absorbed and millet softens. Stir to make sure millet doesn’t stick.

Add milk, sugar and butter. Stir frequently to ensure kasha is not sticking or burning. Cook for 10-15 minutes, or until kasha is soft (add more milk, if needed).
