Ingredients
1½ lbs ground pork
½ C finely chopped onions or thinly sliced green onions
6 tbsp white miso
6 tbsp granulated sugar
Steamed short grain white rice
Strips of nori for garnish
Preparation
Cook the onions over medium-high heat until they begin to caramelize Add the pork and cook, stirring occasionally, until it begins to brown Add the sugar and miso and mix well Continue to cook until the pork is well cooked and the sauce mixture has become dark and well caramelized Serve over steamed rice and garnish with strips of nori
