Ingredients

1/2 cup Steel cut Oatmeal

2 cups water (or more as needed)

1 cup chopped fresh strawberries

1/2 cup chopped fresh raspberries

pinch of salt

2 tbsp honey or vanilla yogurt

Preparation

Rinse and chop strawberries and raspberries. Set aside.

Put 2 cups water and a pinch of salt in a pot over high heat until boiling. Add 1/2 cup Steel cut Oatmeal and reduce heat to low. Cook on low for 15 minutes. (add water as needed so oatmeal doesn’t dry out).

Stir in fruit and cook another 5 to 10 minutes on low.

Once done, remove from heat and stir in either 2 tbsp of honey or 2 tbsp of vanilla yogurt.

Divide between two bowls and serve warm.
