Ingredients

2 pounds of fresh fruit, cut into smaller chunks

1-2 T. fresh lemon juice

Juice of one orange

Pinch of salt

1 tsp. cinnamon (opt)

1 tsp. nutmeg (opt)

1 tsp. dried or fresh ginger (opt)

Preparation

  1. Place the fruit in a heavy saucepan over medium heat.

  2. Add the lemon juice and orange juice. Allow fruit to simmer about 5 minutes.

  3. After 15-25 minutes, add salt and seasonings. Adjust seasonings to taste.
