Ingredients
1 pound lean ground beef
5 medium onions chopped
4 eggs
2 sticks cinnamon
2 pods cardamom
1/2 tsp coriander
1/2 tsp cumin
1 tsp garam masala
1/4 tsp turmeric
1 tsp garlic paste
1 tsp ginger paste
1 tbsp tomato puree
2 fresh tomatoes chopped
4tbsp oil
salt and pepper
lemon juice to taste
finely chopped green chilies to taste
pinch red chilli powder
Preparation
Heat oil in pan. Add cinnamon and cardamom. Add the onions and fry until golden. Add tomatoes, coriander, cumin, turmeric, garlic, ginger and cook until blended. Stir in the tomato paste, salt, chilies and minced mieat and cook for 15 minutes. Add garam masala powder and lemon juice. Reduce heat and cook until dry. Transfer to oven-proof dish. Separate the egg yolks and arrange on top. Gently mix the egg white and pour on top of the yolks. sprinkle salt and chilli powder. bake untilt he eggs are cooked at 350.
