Ingredients

1.5 oz. white or gold rum

Mint

1.5 T. lime juice

2-3 dashes Angostura bitters

1.5 tsp. superfine sugar

Ice

Club soda

Preparation

In a tall glass, gently mash 3 sprigs fresh mint and 1 ½ teaspoons superfine sugar with the back of a long spoon. Add 1 ½ ounces white or gold rum, 1 ½ tablespoons fresh lime juice and 2 or 3 dashes Angostura bitters. Stir to dissolve sugar. Fill glass about ¾ full with ice. Add club soda to taste. Stir to blend and garnish with a mint sprig.
