Ingredients
2/3 C. sugar
1 C. butter, room temp.
1 egg
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. almond flavoring
2 1/4 C. flour
Preparation
Mix sugar and butter together. Add egg and beat well. Mix flour with salt. Add to mixture. Add the almond flavoring, mix until smooth. Cover and place in refrigerator, if too soft. Fill a small amount in cookie press. With the small star, make S, O, candy cane, or christmas trees. Place colored sugar on cookie. Make O’s look like wreaths by adding green sugar and a small amount of red for bow. Bake at 350 degrees until lightly golden. approx. 8-10 min.
