Ingredients

21/2 lbs. stew meat,

1/3 cup all purpose flour

1/3 cup salad oil

1 cup chopped onion

1 garlic clove minced

3 cups water

1 tsp salt

1/2 tsp worsh.

1/4 tsp pepper

4 beef bouillion cubes

5 medium potatoes

1 16oz bag of carrots

Preparation

  1. cut stew meat & cover w/flour. cook meat in oil in frying pan, until browned.
  2. reduce heat to medium & add onion and garlic to drippings. cook until onion is tender. stir in rest of flour. gradually stir in water, salt, worchester, pepper & boullion & cook, stirring constantly until slightly thickened.
  3. return meat to pan, heat until boiling. put in crock pot.
  4. add potatoes & carrots
