Ingredients

1/2 cup (125 ml) butter

1 cup (250 ml) brown sugar

1 tsp.(5 ml) cornstarch

dash of salt

1 egg, lightly beaten

1/3 cup (75 ml) water

1 tsp.(5 ml) vanilla

1 cup (255 ml) raisens

Preparation

Cream butter with sugar, cornstarch and salt. Add egg, water, vanilla and raisens. Spoon into pastry tart shells, filling about 2/3 full.

Bake in 350 farenheit (180 celcius) for 25 minutes or until set.

you may substitute milk or cream for the water in the recipe.
