Ingredients
-sweet pickle chunks
-ripe olives
Dry pickles and olives well on paper towel
-1/4 cup soft butter
-1 cup grated aged or extra aged cheese
-1/2 c. flour
-1/4 tsp. salt
-1/2 tsp. paprika
Preparation
Blend dough ingredients well, using hands. Place on a square of waxed paper and roll out into a 6" long roll. Slice into 24 pieces, flatten in hands and wrap around the dried pickles or olives, sealing well.
Arrange on an ungreased cookie sheet and keep in the fridge for a while, or until needed, covering with wrap if for a long time. Bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes. Serve hot. Can be made ahead and frozen on the cookie sheets uncooked, then bagged, to bake later.
