Ingredients
2 Pkgs dry yeast
1 cup water (lukewarm)
1 tsp sugar
2 cups milk
2/3 cup shortening
3/4 cup sugar (Why sugar is on here twice? No idea.)
4 tsp salt
2 eggs
7-8 cups flour
Preparation
Roll about 1/3 dough 1/4 thick - spread w/butter. Add brown sugar, cinnamon, nuts and raisins. Roll as for jelly roll, cut 1" slices and place in a greased pan. Let rise.
Bake at 375 for 15-20 min. Can also shape into a wreath and cut and twist.
