Ingredients
10 cups water
1 whole fryer, or 8 boneless chicken breasts
1/2 tsp. basil
2 Tbsp. parsley
1/2 cup finely chopped celery
1/4 tsp. garlic salt
1 bay leaf
4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 cup rice (uncooked)
2-3 carrots, chopped
1 small onion finely chopped
1 cup milk
Preparation
In a large pot, put chicken in 10 cups water. Bring to a boil, take off stove, cover, and lit sit for fifteen minutes. While deboning/dicing chicken, cook broth w/ spices, vegetables and rice. Return meat to broth, add milk and serve.
