Ingredients
~8 apples for baking
1/2 cup flour
1/2 cup oats
1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1/2 tsp cinnamon
3/4 stick of butter in pieces
Preparation
Slice apples thinly Use 8x8 pyrex or other baking dish In a Cuisinart or other food processor - add all dry ingredients (except apples) and add the butter in pieces. Pulse 4-5 pulses. Do not over pulse! layer apples in dish; add 2 TBSP of water. cover with topping Bake at 350 degrees covered with foil for ~ 30 minutes. Remove foil and bake another 30 minutes until topping is crisp
