Ingredients

6 slices bacon

6 medium potatoes boiled in skins

3/4 cup chopped onion

2 tablespoons flour

1 - 2 tablespoons sugar

1-1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon celery seed

dash pepper

3/4 cup water

1/3 cup vinegar

Preparation

  1. Cut bacon into pieces and saute. Remove bacon from pan.
  2. Boil potatoes in skins.
  3. Saute onion in bacon fat. Blend in next 5 ingredients. Cook over low heat, stir until bubbly.
  4. Remove from heat, stir in water & vinegar, heat to boil, stirring.
  5. Add potatoes and bacon.
