Potatoes

garlic cloves

salt

milk

butter

Preparation

Peel potatoes and chop into about 2-inch pieces. Put in a pot and cover with cold water. Add about one peeled garlic clove per potato. Bring to a boil, then turn down to a simmer until tender. Drain off water and add about 2 Tablespoons of butter and enough milk to result in a creamy texture. Mash with a masher. If desired, put in the oven until top is browned. Enjoy!
