Ingredients
1.5 lbs hamburger
1 1/4 cups breadcrumbs
1/2 tsp salt
1 egg slightly beaten
3 large cloves garlic minced
4 slices bacon
1 teaspoon oregano
1 bay leaf
1 large tin tomato soup
1 cup water
Preparation
Mix beef crumbs egg and 1 clove garlic and shape into 16 meatballs. Fry bacon until crisp. Remove and crumble. Add meatballs and brown with 2 cloves garlic, bay leaf, oregano. When browned add soup and water and cook over low heat 30 minutes. Add bacon and serve with pasta.
