Ingredients
1 lb chopped mushrooms
1 C chopped celery
1/2 C minced onion
1 C (2 sticks) melted butter (divided)
2 C Chicken Broth
1 lb package herb season stuffing
Preparation
In a heavy skillet saute mushrooms, celery, onions in 1 cup butter until mushrooms are tender (about 5 minutes). Stir in 2 cups of chicken broth. Add mushroom mix to package of stuffing. Toss lightly. Stuff bird 3/4 full. Skewer openings closed.
Enough for 15 lb ready to cook bird.
