Ingredients
3 alices bacon cut up
1 lb ground beef
1/2 lb veal or pork
1 28 oz can tomatoes
2-3 chicken livers cut up
1 cup chopped onions
1/4 cup carrots
1/4 cup parsley
1/4 cup tomato paste
1/2 tsp instant chicken bouillon
1/8 tsp ground nutmeg
1/2 cup dry white wine
1/3 cup light cream Optional
Preparation
In dutch oven cook bacon till crisp add all meats and drain off fat. Add tomatoes liver, onions, carrots, celery, parsley, tomato paste, bouillon, nutmeg 1 tsp salt 1/4 tsp pepper to meat mixture Stir in wine and 1/4 cup H2O Boil uncovered 45-60 minutes Before serving pour in 1/3 cup light cream or milk if desired.
